Konstantinos was born in Piraeus, Greece. He graduated with the degree of Communication Systems Engineering from the University of Portsmouth, UK, in 2002. He received his MSc in Communications, Control and Signal Processing and PhD in Electronic and Electrical Engineering from University of Strathclyde, in Glasgow, UK, in 2003 and 2008, respectively.
He has developed experience in the field of Antennas and Propagation in Wireless Communications. His interests include, but not limited to, antenna design and channel modelling for Ad-hoc Wireless Sensor Networks and wireless communication systems in general. His research has been published in international conferences and journals.
He is currently a Senior Researcher in the Research and Development Department of AGT Group GmbH in Darmstadt, Germany and also a Visiting Scholar in CIDCOM group of the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering of University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK.
Before his current post, he has worked for the University of Strathclyde as a Knowledge Transfer Associate with Embedded Technology Solutions Ltd. In the past, he has also worked as a Research Fellow for the University of Strathclyde in projects such as WIDAGATE (Wireless Data Acquisition for Gas Turbine Engines) and Wireless Sensor Networks for Condition Monitoring of Railways, while he has further contributed in diverse projects related to Wireless Sensor Networks.
